iPhone 5 and 4-inch: new confirmations!
Despite the beloved Steve Jobs was against the fragmentation of the iPhone it seems the device will stop the next generation series of 3.5-inch display. On iPhone 5 will be mounted a display with a diagonal larger. Confirmations also come by the agency Reuters and now seems clear that iPhone 5 will feature displays by 4 inches .
The agency reported that Apple was planning to use a larger screen on the next generation iPhone and have also already started to place orders for new displays from suppliers in South Korea and Japan. The new screens, as said, will be from 4 inches . This represents an increase of about 30 per cent from the standpoint of view. Apple uses a 3.5 inch screen in 2007 ...
The production of new screens have been initiated by three major suppliers: Korea's LG Display Co. Ltd. , Sharp Corp. and Japan Display Inc , a merger brokered by the Japanese government, which combines the production of screens for three companies.
It 's likely that all three suppliers of displays have received orders from Apple, and production could start as early as June. This would allow the iPhone to enter the assembly back in August.
